Hello,

I wanted to create a new ship design, which I tried to name "Obliterator". The game however tells me the name is already used ... except that it actually is not. My ship designs are the default "Caravel", "Arrowhead", "Beluga", "Walrus" and "Hellfire", as you can see in the attached images. I'm fairly certain I did name a ship design "Obliterator" in the very early game (when I created my first designs after unlocking the earliest military ships ... if I remember right) but redecided as I found the name actually not fitting for a small attacker, deleted the design (as you cannot rename it, which would be a nice feature) and created a new one as "Arrowhead". This action seems to keep the name blocked instead of setting it free, however.

As Groo pointed out, "Obliterator" is a predetermined ship design added with Supremacy expansion. As such, game considers it a reserved name.
