If this has been previously reported, then please direct me to a solution.....

I recently started a new game and notice that, seemingly at random, some of my save files disappear - the game just randomly deletes some or most of my saves. I'm trying to figure out what is causing this behavior:

1. I have disabled Steam's cloud saving option within the game options

2. I have checked to make sure I have "write" capabilities

3. I've increased the game to keep the last 20 auto-saves

4. In both occassions that this has happened, I lost my most recent saves (manual/auto), but manual/auto saves from approx 25-50+ turns ago will still be available.

Per your offical thread, I've now added the game to my anti-virus exception list. What more can be done? Is this an active issue?

To circumvent this game's save issue, I've started making it a habit to save, ALT + TAB from game, go into the Endless Space 2 save folder, copy said save, and back it up in another folder. Obviously, this is not ideal. Suggestions/ideas?

(Computer guy here; as to say, all drivers updated, game updated, steam's game verification found zero issues....if you need more info let me know).
