1. Description: The game will randomly stop working. But by randomly I mean frequently. I may not get to play out the first turn. I may, when I'm lucky, get to play out 5. But it will happen. The video stops updating, and nothing I can do brings it back. I can tell the other parts of the game are still working sometimes, because I'll hear audio cues in response to pressing keys. Sometimes it crashes completely and I get a log file.

3. Reproducibility: Random - but frequent.
4. Expected Behavior: The video update properly.

6. Notes: I have tried everything I can in the FAQ. Updated drivers. Set all folders writable. Run as admin. Exception in Antivirus. Changed video setting in game and in NVidia. I would be happy to email full log folders.

I m not that knowledgeable in things like this however I´am ready to do my best to help. So Im going to ask some Questions that I would like to know.

1. Do you have any Mods on?(Do you have Mods installed?-especially some that are not from the Steam Workshop?)

2. Is this Multiplayer based? (I dont think so just to be sure  anything of Inforamtion can help)

3. How much Memory Space do you have avilable?

4. Have you Tried running ES2 as Administrator? (not over Steam but the Launcher itself)

5. Have you tried to "repair" the game in Steam?

6. Have you ever messed even in the slightest with the files of Es2(or Steam)?(like by installing a Mod not from the workshop)

7. Have you only played on Species/Team?

Suggestions and Solutions:

1. Deactivate and deinstall all Mods

2. If you Have a Mod which isnt from the Workshop delete it and make sure you installed it right.

3. Re-install the game.

4. Run Es2 itself as Admin.

5.Try it in Singleplayer and or Multyplayer.

6. Try other factions

My conclusion:

The Dumpfiles all tell me one simple thing and thats something tried to run a thing and didnt have authority for it, (Henceforth running the game as Admin).

It tried to load some file with assets then did it and sid it couldnt load that and so only a few were loaded and then it crashed. I think you have installed a Mod that does mess some how with the assets or so and then it started to crash since its a loading Problem you may not have enough Memory (thats why I asked.). Lastly since it says before it crashed that it is unable to load some Assets I stated that you should try other factions or try to reinstall it. 

I hope that this helps if not Im really sorry I see you tried Many Things since you created your acc here only a couple of Days ago. Well thats all I can say to it maybe someone other will solve the problem. Good luck with solving it!

- No mods.

- Singleplayer

- 12.8 GB available. Page File 24576 - 65536

- Yes I have. Didn't help.

5. Have you tried to "repair" the game in Steam?

- I verified the integrity of the game files, if that's what you mean.

6. Have you ever messed even in the slightest with the files of Es2(or Steam)?(like by installing a Mod not from the workshop)

- Nope. This is my second game, so I haven't played around with mods yet.

7. Have you only played on Species/Team?

- I'm not sure what that is. I'm playing a custom faction against 8 AIs, no alliances.
