A group of six of us are playing a game. Three are in Chicago, US, One in Peterbough, Canada and One in Vancouver Canada.

Five of us are able to play with little issue. The One in Vancouver, will often have problems joining the lobby. When they do most of the time it shows blank empires and players. Rarely they will see the normal screen in the lobby with each empire and who is the player. When he is able to get into the lobby and things seem normal, they will be disconnected after timeout on the download. Note he is on Discord the whole time with no issue talking to us.

It can take 5-6 times to try with me being the host, restarting my computer (in Chicago), just in case

One fix seemed to work in is when they used VPN to pretend to be in Chicago, everything appeared fine and loaded fine.

This has not always being the case a couple years back when we played as a group this was rarely an issue
