I mean, it speaks for itself really. How the hell did i manage that?


I check my planet screen and see i have 1 mezari and (somehow) 1 imperial on this Nair 2 planet. It's been ages since ive made the switch, and this is the only imperial pop i have with 89 mezari. I'm guessing this is a bug unless you guys programmed a pop unit to be super stubborn and refuse to move with the times. Doesnt bother me at all i just found it pretty amusing.

Has the system changed hands at all? Did you find any curiosity that could've given the pop after becoming Mezari? This is certainly possible in normal gameplay.

If I recall correctly, you can also keep some of population by sending them to other system via spaceport, if they are traveling during event they won't change.

Also as TheCreamiestCook said it is possible to maitain pop by changing ownership of the system. For example you can trade planet to your ally, then trade back once you finish event. Since pop weren't in your possesion at the time they are also gonna be untouched by result of the change.
