 ( sry for my bad english , i 'm french) When i launch game he crash  i can see this box :

I have bought this game several hears ago and play a lot (207 h). One week ago after encounter a bug in a game with my friend (can't play after 200 turn , desynchronisation etc) i contact sega support and transmit my Dxdiag, they say me to dawnload last version of pilot of my graphic card (GTX 860 M) check if Steam is update and if endless space 2 games folder are not corrupted.

My steam is updated , no problem with game folders ( i redownload this game today) and the last pilot of my graphic card is update.

But every time when i want lunch the game , he crash and i say this message , can anyone help me please ? i don't know where to go

You're getting D3D11 errors such as:

D3D11: Failed to create RenderTexture (1920 x 1080 fmt 19 aa 8), error 0x887a0005

d3d11: failed to create 2D texture id=46 width=1000 height=288 mips=1 dxgifmt=71 [D3D error was 887a0005]

d3d11: failed to create 2D texture shader resource view id=46 [D3D error was 80070057]


I think it's unhappy about your resolution. Try opening your registry in:
C:\Esers\[username]\Documents\Endless Space 2\Registry.xml

Then change these lines to have these keys:

<Fullscreen>True</Fullscreen>

<RefreshRate>60</RefreshRate>

<Resolution>1920x1080 (60)</Resolution>

Thanks for answering me, I made the changes, previously full screen is disabled. But this don't change my probleme : the game crash at lunch 

i add my Registery files and my new crush report if they can help

There's still a lot of other potential causes. Updating Windows and your graphics card drivers are always something you should check.

Are you able to play other games just fine? Have you done any overclocking, changed the page file, or anything else to your computer? How much memory (RAM) do you have and is it all being used when you run?

This is an issue that has come up on a few different games, potentially related to Unity. Others have fixed it by physically reconfiguring the way their monitor was plugged in, for example by plugging in another monitor or switching to a VGA cable.

Did this problem start right after you updated to the newest patch? The patch may not work on your computer. You can rollback the game version by going to your steam library, then right clicking ES2 and clicking properties. Go to the Beta tab and change it from NONE to 1.4.21.

This bug begin after i update my graphic card driver( 451.48 to 451.67) 11/07/2020 my windows automaticaly update 15/07/2020 , i don't change the page file , i have able to play other games, i desinstall et re dll the game yestaday , and today i dll and instal the previous driver (451.48) and i have always the same bug.

I don't have overclocking , i can't change monitor because m'y PC is a Notebook , i have 8 GO RAM  and only small fraction is use when i lunch the game because he crash.

Did you check out these fixes, yet? At least I could solve trouble on my laptop in connection with Amplitudes games, following these possible fixes:
  1. right mouse click on game in Steam game list
  2. choose Properties
  3. choose set launch options
  4. enter: -force-opengl
  5. Restart Laptop, start game
Another idea:
  1. Open NVidia control Panel:
  2. Click on Manage 3D Settings
  3. Click on Program settings
  4. Click on Add a program
  5. Select Endless Space 2
  6. Select "Apply"
  7. Tell nVIDIA to use the high performance graphics processor instead of the on-board graphics card
  8. Close the Control Panel
  9. Restart your computer and launch game
