I used to play with my friend before this month's latest update. We can play with custom factions we made ourselves and join each other's lobby. We are not using any dlc expansion like penumbra, supremacy etc. Now, problem occurs when we are using the custom faction in the multiplayer. If I joined him and change to his custom faction or even mine we still lag and then bugged and my game force closes it also happens the opposite, if he join me, and choose a custom faction  we will lag and eventually force closed the game. We are fine starting the game on our own on single player game. But when we joined each other we cannot even start, also the AI faction keep changing faction by themselves without our decision to choose it when we selected custom faction for ourself. I also posted on steam forum https://steamcommunity.com/app/392110/discussions/0/4053754495584224871/ . Sadly i have no video recording of this occurence bcs it crashed my game.

1.5.30 broke multiplayer. Either switch to the 1.5.28 branch or try the beta 1.5.31 branch.

thankyou i didn't know we can change our version just like that. I just did, might try it again later with my friend when he is online. Again, thx for the help
