i dont know if this is a bug. i have played at least 65 hours on endless space 2 without such problem

but now,my game has been updated to endless space 2 digital deluxe edition and this weird problem appeared

i have tried to verify the game

i have tried to play different races

i played without any mods

but it has the same results, the problem is as follows:

all the competitors are just in the next system from my home system

not just one competitor, if my home system links to multiple system

then there will be one competitor in almost each of them

in one game, it was hilarious because  there were 3 competitor's home system all in a roll besides other competitors on other branches

I have set the game universe to large and yet all the competitor's home systems is practically next door to mine

game becomes non playable

did i miss some setting?

this problem is easy to prove because can always do a screen capture to show this situation

I think so, yes.

I remember there being a setting that affects where competitors are placed at the start of the game. You might have accidentally set their placement to be as close as possible.

Could be the reason, anyways.
