So I attempted this yesterday and today, but effectively launching a new campaign, on any settings, with mods or without mods yields this result.

I've already uninstalled and redownloaded the entire game, verified the game files integrity (they are as far as Steam could tell), and I've never run into this issue before. The odd catch is that I can still load old campaigns such as a Nakalim campaign from December 2019, but attempting to start something new is resulting in a crash. 

I think this has to do with the recent update from 4 days ago, but I'm not sure. 

Any Dev help would be greatly appreciated.

Ah, I'll try that, thanks for letting me know. 

Strange though, as I was attempting to load campaigns not using custom factions.
