• Summary / Title: Game sometimes crashes at end of battle cinematic

• Version: 1.5.37 S5 GOLD-Public
• Notes:
  • Confused by the two "output_log.txt" files in different places. One says "Failed getting crunch texture info" a few times, but I guess that isn't fatal.
  • Closest related issue I could find was https://www.games2gether.com/amplitude-studios/endless-space-2/forums/114-bug-reports/threads/26395-fight-against-a-particular-ship-lead-to-ctd?page=1. Similar in that I was fighting the Riftborn and had a fatal crash during the cinematic, but dissimilar in that there was no Spectre class ship or memory error.
  • I sometimes watch battle replays because I can't figure out cross-fire damage from the Advanced view of the summaries.

Try to update your (outdated) graphics driver.

Since it's only happened to me once, I'm not super invested in making sure it never happens again; I mainly just wanted to report it.

Found a perhaps more similar issue at https://www.games2gether.com/amplitude-studios/endless-space-2/forums/114-bug-reports/threads/36367-aksoundengine-dll-caused-an-access-violation. It seems like one can try reversing the polarity, but ultimately the Enterprise is just like this.
