I have a big problem. My game no longer saves the score. After every round there is the same error message, which I attach to the post. If I remember correctly, the problem started when I subscribed to the mod "ESG Mod - 1.3.0" via Steam. Since then, this error has been occurring. I have already unsubscribed from the mod and reinstalled the game. However, the error still occurs. The solutions from the "Read first" did not help.

It looks like steam or something got bugged when downloading.

Try deleting everything inside C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Temp\

If that still doesn't work, try verifying ES2.

I already tried that yesterday, as it says in the Read Me in Tech Support. Did not help. The rights for the folder and all associated subfolders are also set correctly. I can see that the temp folder is where the .tmp files from ES2 are created but I suspect that for some reason the game may not be able to see or read the files. The savegames that are in that folder are not displayed when I try to load a savegame. At the moment I'm using the Steam Cloud, but it only saves at very long intervals. Besides, I've had the game for a very long time and it used to work until I installed the mod mentioned above. After that, however, I had unsubscribed the mod and reinstalled the game via Steam. But the error still occurs.
