  • Summary: The Relationship with the academy does not match with the Status value
  • Platform: Steam
  • OS: Linux (Ubuntu)
  • Description: As Nakalim faction, I noticed that my relationship with the academy became "Neutral" just after a new "Role Assignment" occurs, despite the fact that my status was at maximum (=100), then I asked for a favor (Rapatriate Relics) that slightly reduced the value of my status (=84) then my relationship became "Allied". I haven't tried to reproduce this bug with another faction.
  • Steps to Reproduce: Choose the Nakalim faction, maximize your relation with the academy, wait for a new role assignment, check the status, it is equal to 100 and the relationship is "Neutral". Ask for a favor with a low relation impact, the status is < 100 and the relationship is "Allied".
  • Reproducibility: 5/5
  • Expected Behavior: The Relationship with the academy must be consistent with the Status value
  • Version: 1.5.58 S5 GOLD-Public
  • Notes: I haven't tried to reproduce this bug with another faction.

Yeah, overall, the descriptions should be precise and describe the exact outcome of the option. For now the whole academy screen looks bad, starting with the mismatched sprite images for the academy roles and ending with some vague flavor text for the crucial gameplay parts. Amplitude and the ESG team, please fix the mess left by the NGD. I've played the beta branch, you already did a very good job, yet there is still room for improvement. Visual consistency and accessibility means as much to players as anything.

We're not contracted by Amplitude anymore, so the window to change things has passed
