I'm not entirely sure where this would go, but basically after attempting to use the borderless window option my screen just went crazy and now it looks like this:

I can't change the resolution or go back to fullscreen because I can't click the apply button. Can anyone help?

Do you have an Nvidia GPU? I ask because you may be able to use geforce experience to apply "optimal" settings back to the resolution you're using. I'm not 100% certain it will work, but sometimes the default resolution and full screen changes can be made that way. I think AMD has an equivalent software is called raptr. You should give one of those a try and see if it works .

I think I might be having the same problem.

The game window resolution appears to be set much higher than my monitor so I am unable to see the bottom 1/3 of it, which also happens to be where the settings and exit buttons are on the main menu.

I have a 6GB Nvidia 1060.

I checked the GeForce Experience tool, but ES2 wasn't in the list even after scanning for games.

Have also attempted to force the game to start at lower resolutions using Steam's 'Force video mode' launch options, without success.

I updated my graphics drivers to see if that would help in any way. Nope.

Figured out a way to fix it, for me at least. Pressed 'ALT' + 'ENTER' which toggled it to full screen and forced back to my screens native resolution.

Checked the settings menu and found that it was set to something like 2100x1600.

Now when I try to switch it back Borderless Windowed Mode though, even if I have the correct resolution selected, the window expands back out to the wrong oversized resolution.

If only it were that simple.

My main screen is the largest screen plugged into my computer, resolution-wise.

The resolution that the game jumps to when I put it into borderless windowed mode is much larger than that of my main screen.

It appears that it may just be an issue with borderless windowed mode.
