Broken production queue

Hi,


To reproduce this bug, just use the save game "Horatio - BUY Riftborn" buy all Riftborn visible systems with influence, put things on pruduction queues and press en turn, and in next turn some system will have an infinite improvement, even tagged in red and marked with a "!" sign. To show result look at buoght systems in the save "Broken queue".

Experimented before, but never get proper saves. Reproduces 4/5.

Seems not reproduce everytime if you buy systems slowly and don't put more than one thing in production queues each time.


My spces: i7-2670QM 3.1GHz, 8Gb RAM DDR3, HDD 500MG (x2), Radeon 6650 2Gb VRAM, Windows 78 64 bit.

I CONFIRM !!!

I just made a post with that bug. But I totaly forgot that I gain system with influence peace tech (it should be removed from the game or gived to only one faction, as this tech is really annoying and broken), and Bayout it with influence also.

Made further test, suspecting that this may be ralated to improvements that only need 1 turn to be build or curiosities on queue.

This time used my PC, to discard things related to my hardware. Specs: i7-4820 3.7GHz, 16Gb RAM DDR 5, 120 Gb SSD (contains the game), 3Tb HDD, Windows 7 64 bit.


Started new game with UE (thus avoiding the possibility to being bug related with Horatios) and growth influence until capable to buy systems from other players. I leave you this 3 saves. first contains the point when I started converting systems after reaching the necessary tech. the second the point I was able to buy all systems in reach (100% conversion). And the third cointains the point I've bought all systems, but not pressed next turn:

Starting from last save I put various things on production queues, and ended turn. I put things that required more than one turn to be completed, and were not curiosities. the bug doesn't reproduced. Here's the save:

Then, continuing from this save I put curiosities on various systems (look at the two on bottom right) and endend turn. This time the queue with systems with curiosities where broken reproducing the bug. here's the save:

Having in mind that this bug was related to putting curiosities or improvements that were produced in 1 turn just after buying systems, I went to "Systems purchased" save and did the test agin putting curiosities in queue from the start. the bug reproducec when ending tur. Here's the save:

After doing this I'm sure that this bug is related to putting in production queue improvements that requieres only one turn to be build or exploration of curiosisties. Waht I couldn't test was:

  • Compare results within improvements that required 1 turn to build vs curiosities on queue. This was due to being the exploration of curiosities the only 1-turn to be build improvement I had at this time.
  • If the bug appers when you buy lots of systems in same turn, or on the contrary appears by buying only one system and putting curiosities on the queue.

ATM I can't do this test, but I'll try once I get time enough and report in this thread.

If you already know this bug, please tell me to stop testing.

I've just got this bug with Cravers vs Riftborn. I've captured their system, I've gained full control over it, but I can't move any population, every construction in queue ends with (!), system literally froze. I've tried to evacuate the system, but the result is system remained intact and new colony ship spawned over it (limitless colony ships bug).

I've raced with Riftborn over system colonization. I won the race 1 turn ahead, but my outpost didn't upgrade into colony, it just froze. Next turn Riftborn turn THEIR outpost into a colony, and I end up with frozen outpost within their colony o_0


Riftborn OP, plz fix :(


Systems in question: Orm and Zhuyin of Sagittarius constellation.

hello - I've had two games now with this issue in a dozen or so systems.  Some I was able to delete the queue but others I was not able to delete any of the building in the queue.  Some items also had the ! in all red too.  Great game otherwise... can't wait for patch 4.

Repeated the test from 100 conversion save. This time only bought one system: Pollux. then tried putting one curiosity that required one turn to research in queue. Not reproduced. After this tried again, putting an improvement after the curiosity in the queue. Didn't reproduced the bug.

Seems this needs to purchase various systems with influence in the same turn to reproduce.
