Bug Description:

      Today i had a game with a AI whose difficulty is endless.However after about 70 turns, i have found out that the AI haven't develop itself at all. All its army were staying at its home-system (and this is the system that the AI only had ).

      Finally, i won this endless AI with 3 battleships. The race of the AI is the Vodyani,but i am not sure is it relevant or not.

      I haven't tried to reproduce it.

I wonder if it's just the Vodyani race and AI not optimised to play it? Vodyani in my game were also miles behind everybody else.

I'm pretty sure this is a known problem with the Vodyani AI, and it's because of their reliance on Arks and their unique faction resource (Essence). The AI just doesn't understand how to utilise its Ark(s) to dominate the early game or how to play passively using the Religious forced law and leechers.

They also suffer greatly when they don't have any nearby minor factions to leech from, as seen in your screenshot.

Thanks for the feedback guys. This is indeed a bug that we have reproduced internally, and we should have a fix for the release. Sorry for the issue.

If you want a proper challenge (seeing some of you are playing in Endless!)  I'd advise you to not pick Vodyani for the AI in the meantime.

Even for human players, using Vodyani in the current version is also a challenging thing

I've noticed this too, to a lesser extent the AI in general. Where are the big fleets for me to fight?
