Seems the new patches/release fixed all the problems I was having!

I´ve been testing the release build yesterday and had a blast. Everything seems to be back to normal.

I have the same problem with the artwork which is annoying but WAY worse is the missing wormhole graphic. It's pointless to play without. I hope this is fixed in the may 19 update!

I too have been experiencing this problem. No artwork at all, but also I cant see wormholes, not even the pathway the ships will take. Its really messed me up in a couple of games where the enemy has suddenly appeared from a system I though was inaccessible.

It seems we were able to reproduce the issue, so we'll keep you posted if we need anything more.

Basically it´s the same bugs, i´ve also posted pictures of a downgrade to the Horatio patch where everything worked as a comparison. I would be so happy if this could be fixed pre-launch after not enjoying the Riftborn patch much due to these bugs.

Can be noted that when I hover over a fleet, I can see the small hero portrait in the bottom, as the designated hero of the fleet.

Tutorial portraits are there (the short dude with a staff) but the tutorial text is cut off on the bottom, I'm assuming so because it cuts off mid-sentence

I do see ships in ship design.

Like Waltari I am using an AMD HD 6900 graphics card and have this issue, I also remember not having this particular issue in the 3.2 version when I first bought the game. 

In my case it was the animated portraits that got effected, the circular still thumbnails used in the city and the fleets are still there but the large character portraits used when they level and the ones in the hero selection menu are blank. I also think I remember in the game start up menu the chosen faction leader thumbnails having animations but while the images of the leaders are there they do not move, the large animated images of faction leaders on the faction selction menu do however seem to work as intended but the thumbnails there also do not have animation.

around the same time the leader portraits vanished I also lost the ability to see wormholes after researching the applicable tech. oddly enough the wormholes can still be used and even clicked for movement if I can work out where they are. not sure if applicable or related but there is correlation of timing.

I didn't post sooner because I am kinda lazy and saw other people posting and figured it would be sorted out

It coincides with a disappearance of wormhole path displays, they still function but its a pain to find them without visuals. probably unrelated.

I also think the faction leaders in the start up menu are effected to a lesser extent in that the animated thumbnails are replaced with still ones.

Hey everyone!

I have the exact same bug, however i didn´t always have it. 

I used to run the game with an AMD HD 5800 grafics card. During my playtime with that card i did never encounter the bug. A friend of mine recently upgraded his PC and gifted me his old HD 6900 card. Since running the game with that card i always encounter the bug. I dont know if that information helps anyone fixing the bug, however thats all i have.

Same problem here. I thought a hotfix was about to drop for this right after the update that broke it... I'm starting to get worried it will release like this. Personally, I've been waiting till it's fixed to play again.

I miss the hero portaits too :-/

3 updates of the game later and nothing. I put my game files up, my computer information. What is there that is preventing the fix of this bug? Can anyone even look at it? I'll provide all the specs and files you want. Please fix this game.
