Playing as created faction.

Discovered system and can colonise lava planets even though tech not researched. No affinity notification on this tech.

Also noticed a couple of techs not showing pictures economy era 4.

are you playing the race Horatio ? They can kolonize from the start Lava and most ly all planets because for there politic.

If your political leading party is the Ecologists, you have the Hardship law activated.

It allows you to colonize nearly all planets (not gas planets), as long as the Ecologists in the lead.
