Battle screen gets stuck when enemy AI's fleet is destroyed but hero ship remains


Description

If the user discovers the "Aurora Waves" anomaly on one of the colonized planets, it can be noticed that the "-2 Science per Population" penalty is not applied.


Steps to Reproduce

1- first battle:  my fleet destroys an AI fleet which had a hero, but the hero's ship is not destroyed.

2- 2nd battle:  attack again (I had more than one fleet in the system), this time against just the hero.  The battle setup modal window thingy will show that the battle is processing, but it will never finish.  


Couldn't proceed to the next turn, had to force close the application.


Happens with the auto-resolve (view battle- whatever) both enabled and disabled.  


Reproducibility


I've had this happen three times now in separate games and against separate AI factions/heroes.  Unfortunately with my current save it is not reproducing.  Might repo if you can set up a battle against a lone enemy hero ship.



Expected Behavior


The battle shouldn't freeze.
