It seems to be finished.

Now I'll let the Turings over here take over the decryption task, and wait patiently. 12 characters, is that... 144 combinations? Or something?

Ok as expected it's a keypad. Auriga don't work. After 11 letter it validate, so we have to find a 11 letters thing to enter

Its finished , if you click in the symbol it will appear in the bottom, so i assume you have to create the right word for a trailer or something .

I'm hoping that we actually have a game that works without desyncing/crashing in MP!

Sorry for the little off topic, but couldn't find a spot for this, as I am not overly enthusiastic about this release.

A counter to this theory is that the Gray Owl looks to pristine to be a repaired wreck.

It is also possible that the trailer plays before ES1, EL or mabe even DotE. The Hissho were able to repair the Gray Owl on Auriga, found the Crystal there and left with it, setting something we are not yet aware of in motion. Only later they came back and crashed.

Good theory.

I actually made a mod for myself about a year ago somewhat based on this theory. In my version, the Harmony had a twin race, called the Revenants, they lived together with the Harmony as a single united society but at some point(most likely after the first discovery of Dust) a split occured amongs them.

The Revenants didn't share the exact same beliefs about Dust with the Harmony. They didn't see Dust as a plague that should be eradicated from the face of the universe, instead, they wanted to use it and manipulate it.

The Harmony didn't like this at all of course and they were growing increasingly fanatical each day. This division became so distinctive that the Harmony(believing that the Revenants are corrupted by the Dust) attempted to destroy the Revenants. So after that point, the Revenants were forced to leave, to avoid a possible war against their own kind.

So in your theory, that "someone" would have been my Revenants. I suppose smiley: biggrin

Interesting, but does the Harmony has this kind of self awareness?

As I've implied elsewhere, I do wonder if the perspectives in the two trailers are meant to represent the two Endless factions.

Has anybody noticed how "You Vision - Their Future" transforms into "Their Vision - Your Future" in that second trailer.

It does seem to suggest that there is a hidden hand at work here.
Probably virtual endless.
A certain group of people seem to have theorized that the Dust Crystal is actually a
virtual endless that started orchestrating events from the start of DotE to get on Auriga and then leave in EL
The ship seems to be starting from Auriga though. So it might be possible that this trailer plays way past the events of the story when some race (Vaulters most likely) managed to repair the Gray Owl using the SoE crystal and tries to escape.

That's a great observation. It sure looked a lot like it.

When the ship launches, the glyphs say "Gray Owl", so the trailer appears to be set after the ship reached Auriga (see the community story "Last Flight of the Gray Owl").

Guys there is a second trailer

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OCQpz1Jnk5s

What the...So if got this right the ship...exploded ? To be honest i don't know if they manage to escape or the ship exploded ( then again idk how FTL works in the endless world) , maybe they used the ship with the crystal core ( The core survived :coolsmiley: smile as a beacon to attract another ship ( maybe the hisho one was in no condition to FTL travel) or maybe they were just leaving and when the ship jumps it leaves a explosion like trail ?(kinda hard to believe that with that dramatic but awesome music in the end), btw can someone decrypt those statics at side panel ?

Obs: I don't know guys , just like in the DoTE album says that someone planned the whole incident , the trailer also gives the vibes that someone was planning that all along.

Okay, if you press space with the video playing, there is an overlay. It reveals that the spaceship contains something, there are some glyphs and a close-up on the right-hand side of the AR overlay just at the same time the voice-over mentions "a single drop".

I noted the glyphs down and I'll be looking them up shortly.

[HYPEINTENSIFIES]

EDIT: the object in question:

Ok it seems to be saying "DUST CRYSTAL".
