As i visited Gamescom today i was Quote saddened by the fact, that Amplitude only had a booth in the buisness area and only a presentation for press.

I haf hoped for a chance to see the new Endless stuff myself and grab some goodiess. I hope Amplitude considers a stand for its customers and Fans in the comming years.

Well, the first announcemet says: "If you have a Press or Trade Visitor ticket, come and meet us in Hall 2.1 - Booth A-014 in the Business Area."

But, i think, you can freely visit B2G event. Maybe there will be some stuff left for this.

From my own experience visiting Gamescom in previous years, the Amplitude folks had enough swag left over from Gamescom days for their community guys during the Beer2Gether (easily one of my favorite happenings that week

). And the community was treated to a private presentation of the new stuff too.

Indeed, while the booth was only in the Business Area, the B2G event was free for anyone to attend. As far as I recall we had 2 who joined us. It wasn't far away from the Gamescom either.

In the past, we've had a booth in the public area at Gamescom but we didn't have anything "ready" to show so we went with business / press only. I'm sure we'll get to attend the usual events next year, with playable demos and a few goodies to give out; I always try to bring stuff with me but it's sometimes difficult when you're already travelling with two laptops in your hand luggage...
