I recently started playing ES1 again the past few weeks and was really kind of disappointed how some stuff in ES1 should have been fixed or made better. And wished that it was polished and had a better UI like Endless Legend. And I found out in this past hour that ES2 is a real thing- how could I have missed this I thought!



I love endless space for its atmosphere and theme. I really loved a majority of the ship designs. Sophons, Cravers, Amoeba and Vaulters being among my favorites. I am playing ES1 (at this moment in time) and talking to my friend how I wish they would make a sequel, then did a google search and saw the IGN Gamescon video reveal and was loving every minute of the new look. The 1st phase battle sequence with the Sophon fleet vs Cravers really made me go ooooh la la.



I love the Sophon ship design I saw, I love the little details of the turrets activating. Those little details were just amazing.



I'm looking forward to the game and can't wait to get into an early access / alpha period. I've been dying a bit for a very well polished, very well designed expansion on Endless Space. Also time for me to swap to a custom race my friend made and see if things go horribly wrong!



Keep up the good work on ES2 I'd love to see some more alpha footage / explanation / game technical demonstrations of core game mechanics!

If there's one thing you can't say about Endless Space is that the UI is bad. Like seriously, it's damn great and it looks good too.
