So I haven't been on here in a long time, since before Endless Legend's expansions and I'm probably thinking WAY! ahead of everyone else, but I'm just curious. I also seen it in steam store already but it didn't have a price or date yet. I bought the alpha version of Endless Legends, but my favorite games was Endless Space still. I just happened to log on here to see if anything new was happening since the last time I logged on and seen Endless Space 2 as a forum category and got excited. (Fyi I did purchase the guardian's expansion and liked it. Although not what I thought it'd be; hoped each faction would have their own special guardian, but still good)
No news on the release date yet, although we will follow the model we have been following of Early Access on Steam to polish the game with the feedback and help of the community before a general release at a later date.
I would totally buy alpha access. I am scheduled to leave the civilized world for a year due to work. I would luv to stuck in a trailer play testing your game��
The game was announced for 2016 (see our Steam page). Considering our preferred way of releasing games to the public is [EarlyAccessforafewmonthstoironoutthekinks] followed by [Fullrelease], both are so far happening in 2016.
So neither next month nor two years from now are correct, the answer is "sometime next year".
As the time progresses, we'll be able to commit to more precise time windows, so in the meantime please be patient and don't forget to make your voice heard in our G2G votes!
They released quite a few GDD's for EL long before they released it, considering there are only 3 out now I very much doubt it will release for some months.
