So according to the new Lost Tales minor faction quests, the Eyeless seem to worship entities that preceded the Endless. Entities that seemingly lived on Auriga...



I've had this theory that the narrator of the ES2 trailer is in fact a being that preceded the Endless, who refers to them as "before they came" and ruined everything. And that this being escaped Auriga. I also have the theory that this being might in fact be Dust itself, which could have been corrupted by the Endless.



Regardless of whether the latter part of the theory is true or not, I am more and more convinced that ES2 will have beings that preceded the Endless (and I believe they are different from Harmony, or at least different from what we know of Harmony which is limited). And that these beings are manipulative, as other quests in EL hint at (for instance, the Forgotten questline hints at it, in my eyes).



(also, the Eyeless keep increasing my love and fascination for them. These feetless happiness spreaders are intriguing...)

They have exterminated themselves several times:-D (the "Eve of Destruction" of the week)and the ones you can find in Space are the people who settled away or were settled out, after that the Planet take a Timewarp done by the "Happiness Spreaders".
