I realize this is likely a trivial concern for most people, but something that always irritated me was the hard-set 300 turn limit, which could only be bypassed through modding (And caused some odd results when it was bypassed). I'm wondering if Endless Space 2 will have a true "Endless" mode, where victory could only be had through convential means (Science, Annihilation, Quest, etc)?

Nobody knows yet because the game isn't out. However, you can turn off score victory in both of the previous 4X games, so there's no reason to suppose you won't be able to this time.

I haven't had any crazy-long Endless Legend games yet (Wasn't my cup of tea, don't kill me!), but I remember in Endless Space, even disabling ALL win conditions, or all except extermination, the game would always end on the 300th turn, which always made me sad-face.



And I guess no one has an answer, that does make sense.
