I remember how I died a few years ago when I saw first screens from ES. I felt in love since first look!

And now I'm really too much excited. I love all of your Endless games line-up, I love how you created and united games in the one whole universe. Lore, story, art, game design, music. It's so amazing how you continue to support your games with patches and addons. Endless Space is beautiful game for now. Thank you. smiley: approval

I will be honest, I do not share the same fondness for Endless Space as most people on here. I played it maybe once or twice and got sick of it. The battle system had much to be desired; I especially disliked the cards (I'm sure others enjoyed them). I really really loved the idea of terraforming planets and enjoyed watching the changes terraformation made on the visuals of the planets. With the visual uplift in ES2, I'm pretty stoked. I also really liked the technology system in Endless Legend. Sure, ES had a simpler one but EL added a depth to it that I really liked; can't quite put my finger on it, though.



So yeah, terraformation + EL-like tech system + overhauled fighting system = endless nerdgasms.

I was very surprised at how much I enjoyed ES. Usually I'm not a fan of strategy games, but that has changed over the last few years with XCOM:EU and more importantly Endless Space. I even got a couple of friends interested and we have played the multiplayer matches. Very excited for ES 2.

I found the tech tree in Endless Space FAR simpler and preferred to the Endless Legend tech tree. I also had a hard time adapting to the policy management thing in Endless Legends. I'd prefer if those features did not get carried over to ES2.



I did however, very much like the quests from Endless Legends to lend a narrative to my game. Endless Space originally grabbed me with it's absolutely beautiful graphics. There was so much care and detail put into the worlds and effects for those worlds. I hope that the next ES can be even more beautiful. I liked the interface in ES but was mildly frustrated it did not scale with the resolution. I'd love to see that simple, clean aesthetic come back. Since it's early in the process i thought I'd just speak up for my favorite features.
