Just curious how is the goverment system will work on cravers?  i mean lorewise why they would let people from other fctions to govern them makes little sense to me i also saw a picture of a craver teaming with a human on some armed conflict hows that going to work ? do cravers forget their kill/eat attitude when they are away from their queens or something ?

Obviously, whatever humans a craver has teamed up with simply provide more food than he would get by eating them, thus it is in the interest of his feeding instinct to keep them alive.

Joking aside, Slowhands did make a post about craver society and how they are not a stereotypical hivemind before the forums moved. I'm not sure if I can find it again, but if I remember right they are basically all still individuals, just not ones with a terribly strong urge for self-determination.

the image you saw with a carver working together with a human is possible first as The-Cat-O-Nine-Tales said an usefull meal/pet (think cows pulling carts during the middle ages)

the second option is that the craver is one of the few that got into contact with a lot of dust and grew more of a concious thinking.

Cravers government is a dictatorship, with one ruling party chosen by the player. If your population goes against your chosen politics, it will lead to disapproval. If it follows it, you'll get approval bonuses.

There's a trend in ES1 and in EL that when exposed to Dust, some Necrophages/Cravers heroes gain independence from the hive mind.

Then again, the hive mind isn't quite the same as it was in ES1 which is a pleasant change. There are various shades of autonomy present within the Cravers as well as rationality. I can easily conceive a Craver who is cut off from the hive willing to satitate his hunger through less genocidal means. A Craver mercenary for instance, would be welcomed if it guarantees it can keep itself in check.

The Cravers aren't mindless beasts you know... some of them are actually individualists and live with other races, like the Academy heroes.

They're just more inclined to consuming everything around them. Way, way waaaaaaaaay more.

Nothing was ever said about the Cravers having a hive-mind per se.  They are a class-based hierarchy with those at the bottom being very intellectually limited, presumably something drives them to follow their superiors, but that doesn't imply they have a single consciousness.  They aren't the Necrophages.  In fact, it says that the Bishops are basically fully aware and autonomous and capable of leading them in whatever direction they want.  It's just that they have a biological imperative to constantly consume and if they fail to do that their society will crumble.

I really hope they do develop them some in their questline so that there are more options than just EAT EVERYTHING1111  They were the one ES faction most lacking in dimension.

Most Cravers are barely even, if simply not, sapient.

So long as you feed them they should be really chill. Hell, even a Craver queen should be quite chill so long as you treat her kids well.

It's those darstadly bishops you need to watch out for, free thinkers like the queen, but less centered on the wellbeing of the hive.

That makes sense it also means that i can have a sophon hero as the leader but it would lead to huuge discomfort to my craver population ? or only cravers can be elected among cravers?

I hope im not being annoying but how cravers will interact with other factions beside their 100% FIDS enslavement passive ? are they getting their consume passive back too ?
