Lost at turn 105 computer lumaris win throught score... its  a bit short to stay polite.

With all the randomness of placement of races closest pirate and colonisable planet and all there is a bit of a problem if computer/player can win around turn 100 that make war the only viable way to play, denying any other way to play .

Had to fight 3 cravers Ia in my part of the system that were 2 system away from my capital. even after killing them their world werent worth anythign because of the depletion perk they have...

luminaris were alone with the 3 other branch of the univers

The spawn locations will be fixed in the near future, confirmed by the devs. What game speed are you playing on? If it's on "fast" that means the game ends somewhere near turn 100 where for example "Endless" (my favorite) ends around turn 250.

Compared to other victory types, Economic victory do feel like they are the fastest and the easiest to get

When you already have many of them gas planets, pepper all your colony with dust buildings, assimilate factions such as Eyders and place them in the gas planets, and build colonial exchanges/atemporal finance (?) planet specializations in the most of your planet, you'll reach the point where you don't have to worry about Dust with almost 1.5K production per minute if you're doing it well.

Not to mention the new revamped trade companies (they were quite underpowered in the Early Access times IMO), where if you put 'em and their subsidiaries in the right places, you'll find yourself with an extra profit of 4k of Dust or even more, complete with science and luxury resources. And don't forget the racial bonuses you get from your original population or minor factions, the rewards you get from quests (especially faction quests), or even the system development plan if you have plenty of dustciduous plant deposits or the other dust-related luxury resources.

So yeah, Economic victory might get the game finished early.

Until you decide to wipe out those who are close to winning the game that way, that is...

I guess we're still waiting for that. Looks like it's every two jumps starting from the player position, even in an unfilled galaxy, even on spiral 8.

I ever played a game where an AI empire won with Economics victory.

Problem was this empire was out of reach, and I could do nothing for avoiding this.

So i desactivate some victory conditions like Economic, or Score.

Actualy my last games was only Conquest victory ON.
