I assimilated an Epistis system with 9 pop. Suddenly half my total population was Ecologist.
When I got the Obelisk from a random quest, Kyros itself just happened to be in the near vicinity and I got the Ecology law that allowed me to settle there forced on me the next turn. I saw an opportunity, and as Sophons, I did it for science.
