Hi,

The effects stacks additively!

The flotilla shield creates a shield for the entire flotilla: a portion of the damage (more important for the energy weapons) will be absorbed like any shield and its capacity is "shared" for all the ships.

So does that mean if you have four Speed +1 modules in your fleet, the fleet will go +4 moves faster? AKA does it stack additively for everything?

I don't know if this ever got directly answered, but since it seems other support modules apply to fleet/flotilla wide benefits, do the damage boosting modules that give bonus dmg% to beam or projectile weapons apply to all ships in the fleet/flotilla? or just that one ship?

It would be really great if that information would be available in the design screen for ships.

I already have an idea for this IDEA

Like making the Ship Advanced Details window show extra buffs at the bottom ala Diablo?

As much as I could critique Diablo-like games, they are very good at quantifying all the buffs/stats a player has. I wish more games followed their example.

Exactly.

You would see that the ship will repair 60% after battle provide +30% damage to the flotilla and 200 shield to all flotilla ships.

Yes, they are!

Also, does that means if you have 2 repair mods on your ship, it can repair 30% after a battle?

Exactly!

Yes, the "flotilla modules" stack and are applied for the entire flotilla.

What is the damage reduction on those "flotilla shields"?
Is it the same as the support ship providing it or the ship receiving damage?

Or something else?

And just to make sure.

By flotilla we mean only one of the 3 available flotillas you can set up before battle (unless you put all in one flotilla) not the whole army going to battle, correct?

All the flotilla energy defenses and the flotilla shield capacities of the ships inside the flotilla (as you said, not the entire fleet) are stacked to create a flotilla shield that works exactly like a ship shield.

Hello there!

I've got a stupid question but i can't find definitive answer for it anywhere.

First off: does the hyperium Flotilla damage modue stack? It gives "Flotilla damage +12%". Does it stack (let's say if i have 4 ships with that module would it stack?). If it does does it stack additevly or multiplicatively (12%x + 12%x + 12%x or x * 12% * 12% * 12%)?

Also Titanium module that gives "Flotilla shield +50" gives 50 shields to EVERY ship on flotilla? How does the shield actually work? Is it virtually hp or just additional hp against energy weapons only?

Thanks in advance for the answers!

Hi,

The effects stacks additively!

The flotilla shield creates a shield for the entire flotilla: a portion of the damage (more important for the energy weapons) will be absorbed like any shield and its capacity is "shared" for all the ships.

any chance this test Romeo suggested was accomplished?

I could find an old save to test, I think, if it wasn't already tested.

90% sure it's a nope.  At least in the ship builder they don't seem to.

Not ship builder. When you hover over a fleet, it lists a combined Offense and Defense rating for the fleet. I had though that it went up and down with support modules, but I could be wrong. Unfortunately, I can't check for about a week or so, I'm away from my PC.

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but I was under the impression the support modules affect the listed offense stats on the fleet description.

If the delay is proving too long, wouldn't the fastest solution be to check yourself? Just make up two support ships with two identical fleets, one with two fleet bonus slots, and one with only one. Compare the fleets output to one another.
