Just an avid fan who was unfortunately not sure if the game would live up to my hopes, yet it has far surpassed. I was hoping that I could upgrade to the Digital Deluxe edition on steam while not having to buy it plus the standard game again for $38 while already having gotten the standard $30 game

There should be a separate "game" to purchase on the Endless Space 2 Steam Store page that allows you to upgrade. 

It was there the last time I looked.

Do not think the upgrade option exists yet. Or maybe blindness has become contagious ;)

You can buy the upgraded game but if you've already bought the standard game you'll be spending an extra 30 pretty much and yeaa

I'm wondering how to check if I have the deluxe version, I cant figure out how to change the skins in-game or if I have the soundtrack as i will usually buy the deluxe versions of games I really want. Was the deluxe version available from day 1 because if not then I probably have the standard edition.

It was available from day one. If you bought it on Steam you can see what version you bought in the purchase history. As I understand it the features of the Deluxe version are not available in the Early Access yet.

In a solid move i drunk purchased the delux and proptly fogot i did, good move drunk me!

Thanks so much! I did buy it off Steam so went through my purchase history and I did have the Deluxe Edition. Makes sense that the extra features wouldn't be available until the full release.

There is actually no option to upgrade to the digital deluxe edition at the moment, if you've purchased the standard edition. We should make it available at some point but so far, these are the only options available.
