Okay, sooo... SPOILERS!!!

If you've played the UE quest line and select Hadri (the Sheredyn Bodyguard to the Emperor who has the hots for his sister *high-five for imperial bootay*) You can get him as a Militarist hero later on in the game. This is the first hero to be added to ES2 that doesn't have an in-game faction implemented yet (Sheredyn), and I've got to say, he's pretty good.

Are there any more hidden heroes in game that aren't in the wiki? For example, if you finish the Harmony quest line (if it's fully implemented at this point), will you get to recruit a Harmony hero?

During the last accessible step of the UE questline (as far as I know), you choose between three different paths for your empire to take: Sheredyn (military), UE (industrial), or Mezari (scientific). It's a pretty neat reference to the past game and to lore, and overall I think the UE questline has been done very well.

It looks like the ES2 United Empire consists of the ES1 United Empire, Sheredyn and Mezari (Vaulters) factions. So basically they merged three major factions into one. We won't get Minor Factions for any of them.

Awww bummer. Who knows, maybe we'll get the Sheredyn as a faction in a future expansion if they play on the betrayal plotline from the first game.

Haven't had the chance to play post-update, but that sounds AMAZING. It means we didn't get UE at the Expense of Sheredyn and Vaulters. We got them all rolled up in to one choice!

United Empire just shot from my least enthused race to being tied with the Vodyani for me.

Yeah as a cheap way to add a new faction with just a skin change.In the lore there are the emperors bodyguard and should not be a full faction.

They should be a full faction, just done right this time around.

All three choices lead to a different unique hero. the emperors sister and the scientist are also unique heroes. They just need animations like the normal heroes

I just found Reyaryn Cious through Cravers' questline! :D He is a very unique hero if you ask me
