hello all, ive been playing RTS games seance Age of empires. empire earth.. warcraft era. i really love my space 4x tho. anyway i really enjoy the game even tho its still in progress im very impressed the devs are not pushing a unfinished product out to cash in early and are actually doing this justice. the voting system in this game is amazing it adds alot of depth ive found hard to find in most my space rts games of old. a true love of mine was sins of a solar empire and honestly i think this game my finally dethrone its place for favorite space rts.

- Exploration, im happy with the style of traveling and the probes are a very nice touch the maps are very bordered though at the moment id like to see some very random paths and groupings if possible sins did a very good job with custom galaxy editor and random generators. something maybe to consider?

- Tech Tree, ive read this will be getting a update. Thank you... as a old player it took a few rounds to get a hang of the tree. it isn't terrible but for new players it could be very confusing. i think sticking with the standard left to right style tree may be the best approach, also when reading the boxes its like a assault of information lol. i think making more of a colored change to the unlocked Techs of each research may help 

- Stars, in master of orion something i liked was the random event where stars could super nova in old systems. i haven't came across this in ES2 it may be in their lol not sure but would be nice to see something similar added. i like the different styles and types keeps the game more interesting, maybe a scan of the stars and possible side effects of being in systems with different stars could be a idea, large stars maybe could effect shields, young stars effect probes ect..

- Pirates, my god they are everywhere. i almost never seen the other AI in my game or fought them because the rampancy of these guys. good tho i like it

- minor factions good job on the quests and images, backstory, one thing i thought would be awesome if they had system locked fleets for defense, 

- Ship Design, AWESOME its the easiest one ive seen honestly the GE one is was to complex for me sometimes lol. a custom ship skin downloader working with steam workshop would be amazing btw

((( Bugs ))

- Saved Games, ive read this will be addressed but my lord is it irritating lol yes. please fix ASAP 

- Battle Lag, there is a noticable shuttering when in battle mode. my FPS is over 200 and the battles lag every 5 seconds

- Endless Turns, rather annoying i was 90 turns into my game Tonight and when i went to the next turn it simply stood their forever processing the turn.. the game never froze the music still played just could never get to my next turn lol

- End game lag, after 50 turns playing with 4 AI i noticed some slow down when processing turns. which was normal for 4x, tho after 60 this game came to a crawl. it was taking almost 45-60 seconds to change turns even up to 90 seconds randomly from time to time. i checked my system temps, usage, and FPS all were fine so id say its game code.

- Colonizing planets, when playing with the Trading race.. sorry cant remember the name its like 5am my brain is a blank atm.. i noticed when buying outposts in systems with multiple available planets when zoomed all the way into the system the planets said - colonized - but when zooming out to the full system view where you could use probes it was available.

- Audio Off After Restart, when trying to get my saved games to work lol... long process... i was rebooting the game thinking it was just a crash, after starting the game up with a fresh system start and then trying to load a saved game it would stick halfway through the load bar. id then alt tab out and close the game. restarting and then when arriving at the main menu my Master Audio was off? i noticed this happened several times.. it was easy enough to fix just go into the settings and turn it back on but still. bug indeed.

well thats all ive found so far, i know my thoughts and impressions seemed like a big give me list but they were just my ideas. if the devs really do read these posts maybe it will spark a idea one will like who knows lol just wanted to offer my 2 cents, over all like i said im very impressed with the games progress and features im very happy i bought the early access. looking forward to the next update and new diplomacy system to be added thanks for the hard work and reading
