Endless Turn Bug Testing

so ive being trying todo some testing with the endless pending turn bug some things ive noticed.

- tested tiny map with 2 total players 5 times no crash

- tested tiny map with 3 total players 5 times 2 crashes

- tested tiny map with 4 total players 5 times 4 crashes

- tested small map with 2 total players 5 times no crash

- tested small map with 3 total players 5 times 3 crashes

- tested small map with 4 total players 5 times 5 crashes

- tested medium map with 2 total players 5 times 2 crashes

- tested medium map with 3 total players 5 times 5 crashes

- tested medium map with 4 total players 5 times 5 crashes

my friend has been helping me play this weekend on my system to ensure results.

i restarted my computer each test.

also noticed RAM useage slowly increases though out the game by a few % every 15-20 turns which may be normal just was monitoring.

during a crash CPU useage stayed the same

during a crash SSD useage went to 0% from 15%

tested vodyani as AI because ive read rumor they were causing crashes.

- tested tiny map with me and vonyani 2 times no crash

- tested small map with me and vonyani 2 times no crash

- tested medium map with me and vonyani 2 times 1 crash

i think that the race doesnt make any noticable different

my thoughts?

the crash is a mix of memory dumping and AI being to large in any game. could be related to fleet size, empire size, or just number of AI on any map

for best game play until hot fix use results above to serup your game,

- from what ive gathered i dont think the hotfix will be here until begining of 2017, i know it sucks but this is a alpha and i have tested much worse lol if anyone reading was in the Age of Conan alpha/beta this isnt nothing lol im sure they will have the hotfix out soon or just roll it in out in the next faction update. just relax and game on remember your Testing the game!

Hi !

Thanks a lot for your post, you put in an amazing amount of work!

This kind of report helps us understand where and when we have problems. We have worked a lot on fixing endless turns and improving AI memory issues in the past weeks.

An upcoming update will provide you some of the fixes that we were able to port on the update 1. We continue working on the issue to provide you a better experience for the update 2.

We're sorry about these issues, we will be improving our testing process for the next updates.

Adrien
