sadly it seems the hotfix has made the endless turn bug worse. im now getting endless turn on any game i play

tested tiny map 5 times with 2 total players 5 crashes

thats all ive had time to test so far, 

saving the game and reloaded worked twice. but most the time the game just crashed during reload.

i love that the devs got the hotfix out before christmas but fixing the these few bugs seems to have unleased even more issues. hope you guys are finding more fixes for the issues getting the saved game curruption and endless turn solved should be a higher proirty atm than update 2 in my opinion 

I did not try the hotfix yet.

But does the Endturn button lags more when

- you're pushing it when in the galaxy screen

- you're pushing it when you're in a 2D screen (science, economy whatever).

The second option lagged less in all my games for now. This worked very well.

But it leads to one other bug, AI ships making their movements during your turns (they does this when you remove the fog of war from those).

On my side i've faced it each time with UE faction (tried 3 times).  After that I played Sophons and it worked like a charm.

Can you replicate without playing United Empire faction  on your side ?

The symptom of endless turns can be caused by multiple things on the back end

if you have this issue please post your

1) dxdiag

2) output_log.txt

3) diagnostics folder

4) save file affected

Attach them here so the devs can take a look at it

I am also having this issue, both in that my turns and battles take really long to resolve and te ocasional endless turn bug.

I will provide that information next time i have a save file to upload with this issue.
