Odd that terraforming can only go in one direction. From what little I tried, it seems to make planets less specialized in terms of FIDSI output, and you still can't change it to conditions like Hot/Dry/Water/Cold to benefit the population there.

It's... not a news. Good old planetary chart. Also.

What you linked has nothing to do with terraforming. It is just a list of available planet types.

But look at these coloured columns, in which are planets organised. No overlaping with your chains?

Thats all about planet types/FIDSI bonuses and so the terraforming too.

I think that sistem much better then is ES1, where AI often made whole star systems of ocean planets with farms - effective, but soooo ugly.

If you go from Tier V to Tier II it looks correct. But the Tier II planets are not yet terraformable. :)

Well, I can understand why. I think Tier1 planets should be kinda unique.

Please, no more 5 ocean planet per system! Ugh.

Dont we have "unique" labeled planets for that? :)

Maybe this terraforming comes in Era V.

Yeah, maybe)

But... it was a great part of ES1 early-game - race for precious Tier1 planets. When you see beautiful and valuable green globe amongst cold or deserted boulders... I miss this feeling
