In all honesty, i really enjoy the faction specific tracks, i just wish there was more than 1 track, preferably 3. One would signify ambiant, i would keep the existing as those, one when you advance an era, and one when you enter war.
I do hope they include some tracks from ES1, unaltered.
All the music in the game suits the setting perfectly. Amplitude has always done a fantastic job on music (I only watched people play Endless Legends on YouTube a year ago, and I still hum its music randomly), and Endless Space 2 has no exception. Maybe I haven't played the game enough, but I also haven't picked up on the lack of tracks so far. I echo the opinion that at full release, there will probably be more tracks or something, but yeah---I really don't expect to be disappointed.
Agree on the love it remark. I didn't really notice the music until I made a point to listen to it and realized how much it had been contributing to the fun I was having the whole time :D
Overall I really enjoy the music... ingame. For some reason I just think the main menu music does not fit. It just seems out of place.
But yeah I would also not mind a bit more variation for each race. I do enjoy just leaning back and sometimes just sit and listen, while I try to figure out how my next move should be.
The soundtrack is great, I really enjoy the strong difference between the theme of each race and how well it fit with their theme. Flybyno did an amazing work.
