Lets say that in the future Amplitude decides to release a minor faction as a mayor one and as always they let us make the choice, which one would you choose and why ?

As for me the answer would be the epistis or the amoeba the first because they are my favorite looking one and their background is the coolest the second one due their alien looks and the fact that they already have good bases to become a major faction. 

I would go for Amoeba but imagine being the Amoeba and constructing Infinite supermarket. lol

I feel amplitude should have done new art, wording and tittles for the system improvements for each race but that's a lot of man-hours and dedication.

I'd want to see the full list before making a final decision, but of the currently revealed factions I'd say the Amoeba would be the best choice. Honestly I'd like to see all of the ES1 races return eventually. Of the new races I'm not sure - I like pretty much all of them but I wouldn't say any one of them stands out more than the others as a candidate for upgrading to major status.

I do however have a (slightly irrational) dislike of the Epistis as I'm worried they have been created to replace the Sowers (and possibly the Automatons), my favourite race from ES1. Seeing them promoted to a major faction would be extremely disappointing to me. That said I might feel less hostile to them if the Sowers were at least revealed as a minor faction and not, as I fear, retconned out of existence because the devs didn't think they were interesting enough.

Honestly, none. I'd rather have a visual rework of Horatio. 

It's a draw between the Amoeba and Automatons for me. They were my most played factions back in ES1.

Amoeba and Automatons here too, although a good point was made earlier about how they'd need a replacement. What I'd like is just something similar those two aliens that aren't based on a human body plan. 

So far, every single Major faction in this game looks that way -- they could be human actors wearing rubber suits for a movie. At least the Amoeba and Automatons (the head guy in ES1) looked very different. Amplitude is good at designing weird aliens that aren't human-formed. Four of the twelve Minor races announced so far don't have bipedal human-form shapes, but there should be more of those in the Major factions. 

So that's what I'm hoping for -- that whatever's coming as the last two Major factions doesn't walk on two legs, and looks like a proper alien.
