Casue i got no answer it seems i have to show u much more what kind of problem ur game has.

Micro stutter and fps drops seem to be affecting everyone. It's typical for early access titles, optimisation usually comes a lot later on in development. That being said there is a pinned discussion on the steam community forum that has a list of possible fixes, hope that helps.

Can you try disabling pirates as a game option

I was having an insane amount of pirates... quit the game and turned them off (kind of sucks because I enjoy having the pirates around as a nuisance I think it makes it more challenging).   Seems to run a little better now, and the turns don't take quite as long. This could all be in my head though.  

I hate the pirates as they're currently playing. Will disable them until the spam is fixed.
