New Settlers can't colonize planets

Hey ES2 forums!

I'm not sure if this is because it's Early Access & is a bug, or if I've goofed something up but: any new settler ships I make I can't seem to get any of my colony ships to actually start a new colony. I may have changed something when I redesigned the Settler class of ship, but all I did at first was is just changing the engine module. After that, colonization options stopped working I proceeded to go back through all of the different support modules but none seem to indicate which one(s) should be used for colonization. Every planet simply says "You need a colonization Module to colonize."

Any insight or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a ton!

There is a colonsation module : just check for it in the ship designer.

Hover on each module, you should find it ?

It is called "Basic Colonization".

There is no huge need to refit a colonisation ship tbh, only maybe to put a simple probe module, so you can probe the planet you are settling on.

If you design a new colonization ship, the colonization module will be pre-fitted. Notice that some does not colonize (Lumeris & Vodyani).

I found the colonization module, it's the wrench icon. For some reason my brain was just over-looking that.

I hear you about the refit of Settlers, but I wanted to just give them a boosted distance so that I can get them across my constellation faster. I like playing a rapid expansionist style early on.

Thanks, Kweel. We'll call this one resolved.
