The purpose of this thread is very simple: I want to see what the general opinion on the current (Forced) Truce System in the game is.

I'm curious to see if it can be really good.

The Forced Truce, Forced Peace and Forced Alliance features of the Drakken in Endless Legend were pretty expensive and powerful tools.

Thinking about it, I personally think a scaling Dust modifier would be much more contextual and give Forced Truce a degree of power and value similar to that of Drakken. This could then of course develop over-time to be more powerful, so refusing the second force truce may give a global Industry penalty for example, a negative economical dynamic in response to a war going over schedule.

So then it becomes normal mid-game to refuse a force truce one or two times due to the increased dust upkeep, where'as late-game we may be able to refuse it more times.

This is all in the context of improvements respectively, we still have no idea if this feature will even make it into the game, similarly to how Endless Legend doesn't have forced truce outside of Drakken.

I'm not sure what you mean about having no idea if this feature will make it into the game, because Forced Truce is already in the current Early Access version, and can be used by either participant of the war.

Ok well damn i totally missed the feature. When you are at war and you get the truce menu, is that the enemy who activate it ?

First feed back : there is a lack of visibility about this feature

If it's when the truce menu appear during war, Second feed back : I don't like it, because I can't negotiate the conditions of the truce. I usually refuse the forced truce and continue the war until I have what I want (mostly the enemy home world and its giant influence bubble).
