Ok there are some very peculiar things going on this patch

First, i don't know if the UE have some new synergy or something but their capital had 14 pops by turn 25.

Also, they were capping expansions in 3 turns. Which was even weirder. They literally capped a system 4 systems away from their closest owned system in 3 turns.


Is there something i don't know?

I know it's not adding much to this problem because the Riftborns construct their population, but by turn 25, I was 16-17 in total population with the Riftborns (10 Riftborns + 6-7 Epistis).


Just saying this because that number, 14 @ T25 (with low FIDS output) is not out of synch with the current balance with Riftborns at least.

And for expansion, you have 3 ways to boost the speed of expansion of an outpost. With 2 of those boosts (the first and the third), you can indeed get a system in 3 or 4 turns.

First of all, how? I could only get up to 10 pop in total (7 Riftborn, 3 Epistis) by turn 25. And that's including 2 Compression Singularities back to back. 

Also the cost to build them increases over time. By turn 25 they were costing 650 each.

Second, have you also used the time bubble?

Ok, so I tried it again and got up to 18 total pop by turn 30. 17 in one system (9 Riftborn 8Epistis) and a second colony with just 1. but I guess I got lucky with the starting planetary composition. 

The home system received 2 singularity compressions, the hero got level 8 and grabbed every  bonus I could give him, and after some lobbying in the elections I managed to get the Industrialists into power and thus allowing me to pass the +25% per luxury law (I think that's how it's called)

Building a pop eventually got up to 750 (starting from 250)

It's still somewhat impressive IMHO.

Sorry for the delay there.


First moves are colonizing 1-2 planets then food improvement, and Riftborn spam. It's not 16-17 dudes on the same planet. I say "by turn 25", it could be "by turn 22" or "by turn 28", I'm not super precise there. What I know is around this turn I unlocked Riftborn population collection bonus tier 1 and saw I had 6-7 Epistis.


Going to colony T2 really helped me (I have to check if I was again a lucky tard, with an industry bonus)
