Those Shuttle and Station modules look wonderful. Sadly no major faction use it yet. I would love to use it on custom faction if all of their hulls are available.

Actually, being able to use pirate hulls in custom factions would be pretty great! I hope they throw this in. I'd also like minor faction leaders availiable, but thats probably a stretch.
I remember in the letsplay stream on thursday medoc said that they intend for mercenary ships to be expendable fodder rather than being incorporated into your empire like EL did with minor faction units.

Mercenary ships, for sure. But having access to a minor's ships should (Hopefully) allow for access to their ships and weapons.
