Sophons have +2 movement on ship as a  unique trait. i wonder is that helpful at all. for example Vodyani faction tree for heros have +4 movement speed and it comes in mid game when combat will happen and manouvers

anyone can explain why +2 movement for sophons is a meaningful trait, and would +4 movement speed be too much for sophon's trait?

Thats because all ships from sophons have the +2 movement bonus whereas the vodyani hero +4 one only applies to the fleet its assigned to. And yes, +2 is alot, play the riftborn and see how slow -1 for contrast ahaha.

oh yes, get that and an exploer hero, that science law that gives +2 speed, that quest tech that give bonus to speed, you can coliniz/ great logistics on other constellations early, and far faster than any other race until wormholes
