So, I am just wondering if upgrades are kept as you level up your systems. For example if I choose the morale bonus for the first system level upgrade, but then choose production and science for the next one.. does the morale bonus stay? or does the Production and Science replace it?
So just wondering if its

System level 2- +Morale
System level 3- +Morale(from the system level 2 upgrade) and + Science, Production from level 3 upgrade 

or 

System level 2- +Morale
System level 3-  Morale gets replaced by + Production and + Science.

I just tried this is a game. I created the first system upgrade with +industry. I then created the second system upgrade with +approval and +science. When the second system upgrade was completed I did not see a drop in industry. So to me this says that the system level upgrades stack rather than being mutually exclusive.
