Gassing Your Populous

I found a good strategy for tweaking my populous types.  Problem is, I feel like an evil Craver doing so.  If there is a pop type I don't want, I simply send them on a "3 hour cruise" to a planet that's already full.


It works, but, I feel like I'm gassing my people; getting rid of the types I don't want.  Is there another way I'm missing?  Will this be changed or improved?

A cut benefits policy would be suffice so they migrate to someone else..Having extermination policy would also suit some government types.

I like undead puppy idea.


Also some pop are totally useless. Like giving "militaristic"...

Militaristic is already the easyest faction to swamp a gov with.


It would be better if they gave bonus to something space battle, infantry battle, tank battle, air battle or defense.


The "send them to a full planet" is a bug i think or an overlook. Game should prevent you from doing so.

Sometimes you can merely send them to a pirate investe place or route that pass by the system, it also work nice. 


I like a law that autorize to displace pop/ expel pop or for craver, why not, use them as food. Only for dictatorship or militaristic goverment for example. The only problem i see with militaristic, its the fact its overeasy to achieve this state.

I would like an addition to the spaceport to "deport" population into space. Maybe destroying the population, or maybe creating a neutral civil ship that roams the systems until killed or that settles into a minor faction system. I feel bad sending them to die ;(

Hmmm, deport sounds good, but needs to have moral penalty most time (-20 moral for 20 turns, or something like that).

Or there could be an option for another major empire to accept the refugeed getting bonus approval and relationships with a minor faction ( if it is a minor faction).

Like a refugee panel in the Marketplace where all the "homeless" pops in the galaxy can be obtained by multicultural empire who want to diversify their population.

Need something to fill gas giants with and your dust income isn't as high as you want it to be? Don't worry, there are a couple of Eyder refugees looking for a new home!

That sound like a pretty good idea. I think If you can buy the refugees/homeless/wanderers using influence it would make sense lorewise too

Please post this in the ideas fórum sounds plausible, makes sense lorewise, and doesnt sound like something that would require extreme changes.
