Transporting pop between systems

Whenever I use a spaceport to transport pop to a faraway system, the destination would often run out of slots to accommodate them because they were filled during the travelling time. For it to be practical, please make this mechanic an abstract so that the pop are immediately transported to the destination system on the next turn no matter how faraway it is. Otherwise, it defeats the purpose of pop optimization. Thanks.

No, I'm not asking for a screen to track pop movement between systems. Although I support the addition of a screen similar to what you suggested, I'm asking for a complete abstraction of this system so that moving pop between systems is immediate no matter how far the destination may be. The current system defeats the purpose of pop trait optimization on different systems because races are not evenly distributed throughout the map and it's not always possible to transport certain farwaway races to a planet where their trait will thrive due to pop slots becoming unavailable at the destination from native pop growth. In other words, slots on the destination system become unavailable by the time the immigrant pop arrives there. If such immigration was immediate, this would be much less of an issue.
