I can't help but notice the odd absence of "Harmony" in the currently existing forum titles, considering I had to go with Core.

Actually, the Harmony is in game, at least a faction of  it (not the main one we played in ES1, but the Pulsos who are Dust infested outcasts basically). There's also the Harmony cameo quest line in the game.

Oh, no, I absolutely know that they're in-game, and about the cameo quest. However, the title selections on the forum, which have the proper names of most of the factions for each game (see: your Necrophage title), are missing a couple of the ES1 races' names. Specifically, they're missing Sheredyn, Automatons, Vaulters, and Harmony by my count, but Harmony is particularly odd in that "Core" is available from ES1 and "Silic" from Endless Legend, meaning that they show up twice on the list of selectable titles, but only referred to by a tangentially-related, ultimately improper, name.

And now that my joke has been thoroughly dissected and killed, I return to lurking in the void between galaxies, ever-watchful for the vile touch of the blight that is Dust.

Also I think you made a mistake (or maybe it's me) but vaulter and UE was not the faction who descend from Mezari ? I mean the Vaulter are the mezari prisoners from DoTE (and UE was from a true colonisation ship) so Zolya clan is a Vaulter clan , right ?

In the current canon, UE is roughly just starting out from a former Mezari colony. The Vaulters, if they're around (and most likely are) are decades if not centuries older as an offshoot culture than the Raians are.

The wiki states there is a locked major faction (https://wiki.endless-space.com/factions/riftborn, look on the left panel).
They could have simply forgotten to remove it when adding the Unfallen, or they may have just revealed we'll get a nice surprise on launch!

Well, in this game, the Vaulters are the ancestors of the United Empires.

Those were the Mezari, who are also the ancestors of the Vaulters themselves.
