Do you have a link to where you read that? I think you still have to do it the old fashioned way, research the appropriate tech with AI or play with friends.
the link in this post from a Dev was working less than a week ago before I bought the game, but now a 404 lol. But said forced teams was a planned feature, guess it didnt make it though.
I've been waiting patientlly for the pre-made teams as well. I'm glad the devs focused on fixing the desync first though. Since 1.0.6 should patch that, hopefully they will turn their attention to this. *fingers crossed*
