Anyone else thinks that having AI as allies is actually worse then going at it alone?

When in a war they seem to constantly ask for help and never give themselves.

They also just seem to surrender at random, forcing me to pay tribute, ever heard of consulting your allies if they are okay with paying tribute?

What's even worse is when I declare war and they issue a truce.

Wtf mates, i'm nowhere near done with this war, stop ending it, i declared the war, i should decide when it ends, not you. I totaly get i lost that colony and a second one is being besieged and that you are worried about that. but this is my problem, not yours. Now i just have to constantly re-declare war wich is eating my influence faster then i'm getting it.

I just needed to vent a litle and this seemed like the best place for it.

Same problem here. I played with a friend in an alliance and a KI was also with us. We destroyed one other AI and our friend-AI always accepted a truce... WTF?
