Could we get more controll over victory conditions? Like determining how much Obelisks needs to be builded or chow much dust needs to be produced?

Also I think that economic victory should not only have different numbers but also there should be added rule to it like you need to have produced XX Dust and exceed your rivals production by at least 30% etc. Now it is just like race. And it hurts when somebody from opposite galaxy cannot be stopped from that.

I turn economic victory off because they are too easy to obtain by certain factions.  I turn the score one off because it also favors certain races that do better early to mid game.

It'd be great if economic victory represented more of an economic dominance rather than just racing to an arbitrary amount of dust.

Agreed. I had a similar idea where there was a Dust threshold, and once a faction achieved that threshold they would have to gain a certain amount of Dust greater than the next highest opponent. Would make games more interesting, basically, incentivizing combat as this would be the most efficient way to gain a differential.

Totally agreed. Maybe it should also involve not only dust but also luxury resources as well. Something like gain x amount of resources through trade or export y amount them. This would also require a player who strives for economic victory to actually invest something (his resources) to operate the trade routes.
